Resilience Roundtable

It is the philosophy of the Central Iowa Trauma Recovery Center to foster an organizational culture that promotes resilience. Resilience is broadly defined as the ability to bounce back quickly from a difficult or tough situation. The importance of resilience is seen in almost all aspects of our lives…personally and professionally. From young to old we have all experienced some measure of adversity. Hints of where we are in terms of our resilience can be seen in the way we handle challenges.

One of our core values at the Central Iowa Trauma Recovery Center is to support and improve the health of the helper. Whether you are a Provider or serve in an Administrative or senior management capacity, it is physically, emotionally and mentally expensive to consistently be your best and deliver high quality care and leadership. We have provided information down below to participate in either the Resilience Roundtable for Administrators or Providers.

Lastly, resilience is about the “whole” of us, not just what’s happening in the brain. It is also about the heart…fostering our purpose and our passion. These are incredibly challenging times for all of us in whatever position you hold. At the Resilience Roundtable we can encourage, support, and inspire one another to be the best versions of ourselves. It is always better together. We hope you will join us.
