CULTURAL RESPONSIVENESS TRAINING & IMPLEMENTATION
Cultural responsiveness is the ability to learn from and relate respectfully with people of your own culture as well as those from other cultures. This multi series training module provides organization with the tools to develop and implement a sustainable a culturally responsive workplace.
This training gives professionals responding to the immediate aftermath of a crisis the practical skills to provide effective and meaningful care to survivors of trauma and loss.
COMPASSIONATE ACCOUNTABILITY: LEADERSHIP SERIES
Compassionate and accountable leadership is understanding where you and your team members are coming from, feeling for yourself and others in a genuine way, and helping you and others to be successful. It can be fierce or gentle as long as there’s a genuine understanding of and caring for what’s needed, an intention to be of benefit, and it results in better outcomes.
RESPONDING TO GRIEF & LOSS
This training provides information about the experience of grief and loss and provides practical skills for direct service providers that will enhance their response to survivors during the weeks, months and years following a traumatic loss.
Organizational resilience has been defined as the ability of an organization to anticipate, prepare for, respond and adapt to change. This training will help administrators adopt and employ best practices to deliver organizational improvement and build confidence and competence.
SECONDARY STRESS &
Caring for others is mentally, emotionally and physically expensive. This discussion will introduce the concept of secondary traumatic stress and make the connection between chronic exposure to traumatic stress, well-being and job performance.
TRAUMA RECOVERY: SKILLS FOR DIRECT SERVICE PROFESSIONALS
When something bad happens to another person, do you know what to do? This training will discuss how trauma affects us all and gives direct service providers skills and strategies to provide compassionate and effective response to others that are hurting.

DEATH NOTIFICATION & VIOLENT CRIME RESPONSE
Telling a family about a death of their loved one is a job no one likes to do. There are both helpful and hurtful ways to deliver the news. This training is designed to provide practical skills to assist officers and other professionals as they deliver traumatic information to individuals and families that will forever change their lives
